This is an ideal location to base yourself for your holiday in this magnificent region. We are close to all the major attractions that lure people from all over the world. The 12 Apostles is 45 minutes to the west. The Otway Fly, temperate rainforests and waterfalls are just 20 minutes to the north. The Cape Otway Lightstation, magnificent forest and ocean walks are 25 minutes to the east. Johanna Beach, one of the best in Australia, is just 5 minutes to the south. We are also right in the middle of the Great Ocean Walk. If you are interested in doing some of this walk we can assist you with drop on and drop off services.

A wonderful cottage to enjoy the marvelous views from and a great base to explore the Great Ocean Road. Very clean and every convenience was thoughtfully catered for. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Boomerangs and Johanna Beach. I wish we could have stayed longer.
The Boomerangs offers a top quality and value stay in a great location with just the right amount of quirkiness to set it apart from all the others. Mark and Roz have fitted out the boomerang shaped villas superbly and offer all the luxuries and little touches that make you feel right at home. We used all the facilities and with no problems at all. The beautiful Johanna Beach is a delight as well.
Saw The Boomerangs website and fell in love with the pics as I was planning my trip. I wasn’t able to make a booking prior to travelling to Oz, but was fortunate enough to get a last minute availability and stay for three days. The cottages are lovely and have lots of thoughtful conveniences for travellers. Loved the spa bath and the views from the balcony. We were even able to see the milky way! Great location tucked away off the Great Ocean Road. Mark & Roz were fantastic hosts and made sure we were well looked after during our stay. Highly recommended!
We stayed at the Boomerangs in August, it was wet and cold outside but warm and cosy within. we slept by the fire, looking out through the marvellous windows- there is nothing like going to sleep by the glow of the fire, lying in your lovers arm’s and looking up at the brilliant stars of the Milky Way. Thanks Mark & Roz for your friendly welcome and service…. and the nearby Otway fly and Triplet Falls were also a great highlight
This was my second trip to the Boomerangs at Johanna, but was my partner’s first experience. I wanted her to be able to share the same wonderful experience as i had previously.
If ever there was a get away destination for complete serenity and relaxation then this is it.
Nestled in nature and surrounded by comfort, this place offers plenty for people to do or nothing dependant on your mood.
Ros and Mark are wonderful flexible hosts who accommodate your every need.
Tickets to the Cape Otway Lighthouse were organised for us along with an in-house massage.
Even though our stay was during winter, there was plenty on offer to see and the warmth of the fireplace made it most comfortable.
This is definitely one place you should have on your list to stay and we will be frequenting here again shortly.
